This Weekend: In And Around Fishers, Indiana

This weekend all of our recommendations are things to do inside with your family—no sense it being out and about if you don’t need to be. Sometimes, the best memories are made from the comfort of your living room.

The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix This show is getting a lot of attention and according to Justin, it’s rightfully earned. You don’t have to be a chess player to enjoy this show. This may not be a show the kids will be into, so you may want to wait until they are in bed to watch.

Play a board game (or card game) Obviously, we are fans of Monopoly as it provides a great opportunity to introduce kids to money, budgeting, and delayed gratification. Pick your favorite board game (maybe chess after watching The Queen’s Gambit) or card game, sit around and talk with the family, and have a blast.

Decorate the house for the holidays 2020 has given us all a pass to start decorating for the holidays a little earlier than usual. So get the decorations out of storage and start decorating and getting into the holiday spirit.
